The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to produce precision parts and tools. This role ensures that products meet quality standards and specifications while adhering to safety and efficiency guidelines.

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools (e.g., lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, CNC machines).
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to produce precision components.
• Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Perform machine adjustments, change tools, and maintain proper feeds and speeds for optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Maintain machines and tools by cleaning, lubricating, and performing basic preventive maintenance.
• Work with engineers, production staff, and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.

• High school diploma or Technical/Vocational course in Machining, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role.
• Knowledge of machine tools, measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle machine operations.
