Record to Report Associate Director

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the Record to Report function for AU/NZ, including general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.


• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, AASB) and internal controls.


• Prepare, review, and analyze regional financial statements, management reports, and KPIs.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Operations) to support business decisions and financial planning for AU/NZ.


• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the region.


• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.


• Serve as the key point of contact for regional audits, providing documentation and resolving audit findings.


• Support senior leadership in regional strategic initiatives, financial analysis, and business performance insights.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred.


• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within R2R or Finance Shared Services.


• Strong knowledge of local (AASB) and international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).


• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and accounting automation tools.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations.


• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
