IT Project Management Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in planning, organizing and directing all activities required for full implementation of project goals and objective
  • Ensures timely preparation of information and other written documents, materials as required for implementation of project activities
  • Ensures and maintains effective and on-going communication with individuals and groups involved directly or indirectly in the project
  • Performs day-to-day coordination of activities with the project team members
  • Ensures tasks completion per planned targets dates
  • Ensures that the RAID (Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions) logs are constantly updated
  • Prepares monthly/weekly reports based on project status
  • Ascertains that change request log is constantly updated and discussed with the Department Head and other stakeholders to properly manage exceptions against approved project scope, timeline and budget.
  • Participates in the creation, maintenance, testing, and execution of the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery plan
  • Performs other related functions as directed by superior

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
    or any related course
  • With a minimum of 1 year related experience in IT project coordination
     or administration
  • Formal training in project management or similar courses
  • Project Management experience is preferred but not required
  • Understands IT internal processes, policies and procedures
  • Able to analyze, prioritize and solve problem in a service drive organization
