About the role

We are seeking an experienced Janitor to join our team at Southern Arms Corporation in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This full-time role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our office premises, ensuring a safe and presentable work environment for our employees and clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all office areas
  • Empty and clean waste bins and ashtrays, and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the facilities management team
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or event set-up as required
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Janitor or Cleaning Specialist, preferably in an office or commercial setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with all employees and visitors
  • Physically fit and able to perform tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
