Draftsman

The Draftsman at Safeway Fire Safety Phils., Inc. is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans for fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications. The role requires precision, knowledge of fire protection designs, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawings and plans based on project specifications, sketches, and calculations.
• Develop detailed layouts for fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems.
• Ensure drawings comply with fire safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
• Revise and update drawings as required based on engineer or client feedback.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Use AutoCAD or other drafting software to create and modify technical drawings.
• Maintain an organized database of drawings and technical documents for reference.
• Assist in site visits or inspections, if necessary, to verify measurements and design feasibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in fire safety or construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of fire protection system design is an advantage.
• Strong ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, and clients.
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify designs based on project needs.
• Applicants residing in Laguna are highly preferred.
