About the role
As a Mechanical Engineer at PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems for our diverse range of construction projects. What you'll be doing
- Designing and overseeing the implementation of mechanical systems, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other mechanical components
- Conducting feasibility studies, cost analyses, and performance assessments to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and construction managers, to integrate mechanical systems into the overall project design
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals
- Monitoring and troubleshooting mechanical systems to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction or operation
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the company's mechanical engineering capabilities
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and devise innovative solutions
- Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills
