Seeking a proactive individual skilled in both collections and telemarketing who can manage accounts receivable and drive outbound sales. This role involves contacting clients by phone to collect payments, promote services/products, qualify leads, and negotiate arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Collections Duties

Review client accounts and initiate outbound calls to collect overdue payments.

Interview clients to assess financial situations and propose structured payment plans.

Negotiate settlements and alternative payment options while ensuring compliance with collection regulations.

Record and update payment agreements, call outcomes, and account status in the CRM system.

Telemarketing Duties

Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to promote company products or services.

Use scripts and persuasive techniques to generate and qualify leads, schedule appointments, or close sales.

Handle objections, answer queries about offers, pricing, and convert prospects into paying or interested customers.

Maintain lead and call data logging accurately in CRM software.

Reporting & Collaboration

Generate regular reports on collection success rates, telemarketing conversion metrics, and KPIs.

Collaborate with collection and sales teams to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and payment solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education: At minimum a high school diploma; college level or degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.

Experience:

Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable.

Demonstrated telemarketing or telesales experience, ideally meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Skills:

Excellent verbal communication and listening abilities.

Strong negotiation, objection handling, and conflict resolution capabilities.

Resilient mindset to manage difficult interactions professionally.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot), MS Office.

Organized, detail‑oriented, able to multitask and meet targets.

Preferred Skills

Bilingual proficiency or strong English language skills.

Related background in customer service, inbound/outbound collections, or BPO environments.

Knowledge of local collection laws, financial processes, or credit compliance standards.
