Job Summary:

The Pattern Maker is responsible for developing, Creating, and adapting patterns for Tops (T Shirts, Hoodies, Pullovers, Dresses, and more) that can be used for manufacturing.

The Pattern Maker requires a strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and textile properties to ensure they meet design, sizing, and production standards

Key Responsibilities:

· Pattern Creation: Developing initial patterns from sketches, technical drawings, or existing garments. This involves drafting patterns by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

· Fitting and Adjustments: Collaborating with designers and sample sewers during fittings to ensure the pattern creates a proper fit. They will make adjustments and corrections to the pattern based on feedback.

· Grading: Scaling the base pattern to create a full range of sizes, ensuring the fit and proportions are consistent across all sizes.

· Technical Specifications: Creating detailed technical packets, including measurements, construction notes, and material specifications, for the production team.

· Sample Management: Working with sample makers to troubleshoot any construction issues and ensure the final sample matches the design intent.

· Quality Control: Reviewing final patterns and production samples to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for mass production.

· Production: Creating markers for production for cutting.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field.

· Technical Proficiency: Expertise in flat pattern drafting, draping, and garment construction techniques. Knowledge of CAD software (Gerber)

· Knowledge of pattern grading, garment construction, and sizing standards.

· Knowledge of Textiles: Understanding of how different fabrics, like knits versus wovens, behave and how their properties affect the pattern and fit.

· Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in measurements and pattern markings to ensure accuracy.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot fit issues and adapt patterns to achieve the desired result.

· Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, sample sewers, and production teams.

· Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Previous experience as a pattern maker or a related role is preferred

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
