We are transitioning from a legacy software system to more advanced platforms, including Verity, Health Stream, and Healthie, and we're seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to assist with this migration and provide support across administrative, billing, and credentialing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration & Auditing
-Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems into Verity and Health Stream.
(Note: ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) is the process of collecting data from source systems, converting it into a usable format, and uploading it into the target system with accuracy and consistency.)
-Validate and reconcile data post-migration to ensure accuracy and completeness.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues during data transfer.
-Document processes, data mappings, and validations.
-Implement data quality checks and monitoring during and after migration.
-Optimize data transfer processes for efficiency and performance.
-Stay up-to-date with best practices and tools for data migration and integration.

Credentialing & Licensure
-Conduct audits of provider documentation to ensure current and complete licensure.
-Identify and flag any missing or outdated credentials.

Administrative Support
-Schedule patient appointments and send reminders.
-Manage and update patient records using EMR (Healthie).
-Coordinate communication with providers and stakeholders.
-Support telehealth platform setup and functionality.

Insurance & Billing
-Perform benefits verification and insurance eligibility checks.
-Process claims and assist with billing tasks as needed.
-Collaborate with existing staff (like Jay) for knowledge transfer and continuity.

Experience Requirements

-Medical License: Not required. Understanding of credentialing and healthcare processes is a strong advantage.
