About the role

RUTTA Consult Inc' is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team in Legazpi City, Albay on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive and engaging technical documentation for our diverse range of projects, including LGU's Comprehensive Land Use Plans (CLUP), Comprehensive Development Plans (CDP), Tourism Development Plans (TDP), and Local Public Transport Route Plans (LPTRP).

What you'll be doing

  • Developing clear, well-structured, and user-friendly technical documents and manuals
  • Conducting thorough research to gather and synthesize complex technical information
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and document technical specifications
  • Ensuring all documentation adheres to company standards and industry best practices
  • Continuously improving and refining the documentation based on user feedback
  • Providing training and support to end-users on the effective use of the technical documentation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the principles of technical writing, including document structure, tone, and clarity
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to extract and synthesize complex technical information
  • Proficiency in using various tools and software for technical documentation (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Familiarity with the local government planning process and related technical documents (CLUP, CDP, TDP, LPTRP) would be an advantage
