Ambulance Driver

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Head Nurse, the Patient Transport Ambulance Crew executes emergency and non-emergency transport of patients arising from everyday activities and its customers, while complying with the organization's protocols for patient care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transports and attends to patients and clients needing ambulance care in accordance with policies and procedures
• Ensures that the ambulance vehicle and its equipment are ready and available at all times and to report any defects immediately to the head nurse in accordance with stated policy and procedure
• Actively participates in stringent cleaning routines on vehicles, equipment and areas of the garage and parking facilities.
• Ensures effective infection control standards are adhered to
• Accountable for basic vehicle maintenance in accordance with the vehicle check procedure dictated by the vehicle check sheet
• Observes and abides by Emergency department ambulance conduction policies and procedures.
• Conducts the role in a professional, caring and compassionate manner ensuring a high level of customer and patient care is provided at all times and maintaining strict patient confidentiality
• Maintains the professional image of UPHDMC ambulance patient transport service.
• Changes soiled linen on stretcher every after conduction of patient.
• Inspects vehicle and check gas, oil and water before departure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php16,000.00 per month

Experience:

• ambulance driving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Professional driver's license (Required)
