Qualification
- High school degree
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Driver
- Valid professional driver's license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely, such as food or chemicals
- Familiarity with using navigation systems
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo
Job Description Van Driver
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
- Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
- Report to the management for any repairs needed for the vehicle to prepare the budget.
- Obtain orders for transporting people (staff members) or things to different locations and ensure that they are carried out properly.
- Fulfill administrative needs like office pickups.
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses safely and on time.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Maintain contact and update the office team properly for any deliveries and pickups from clients and suppliers to avoid any mistakes and miscommunications.
- Other duties that may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.
