Van Driver/Logistic Driver

Qualification

• High school degree
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Driver
• Valid professional driver's license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Knowledge of how to handle materials safely, such as food or chemicals
• Familiarity with using navigation systems
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
• Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo

Job Description Van Driver

• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Report to the management for any repairs needed for the vehicle to prepare the budget.
• Obtain orders for transporting people (staff members) or things to different locations and ensure that they are carried out properly.
• Fulfill administrative needs like office pickups.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses safely and on time.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Maintain contact and update the office team properly for any deliveries and pickups from clients and suppliers to avoid any mistakes and miscommunications.
• Other duties that may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.
