RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Developing individualized physical therapy plans for residents in coordination and cooperation with the Clinical team, rehabilitation doctor and the geriatric doctor.
· Outlining clear goals for residents and the expected outcomes of the plan.
· Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage residents' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
· Recording residents' progress and modifying the plan of care if needed.
· Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff and administrative team.
· Maintains a good working relationship both within the Clinical department and with other departments.
· Treats residents and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and family.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science-related field.
· With at least 2 years' experience as Physical Therapist, recent / previous work experience in primary health care setting in relation with Geriatrics.
· Be in position of health to take over the complete responsibility to work in a nursing home.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
