Key Responsibilities

  1. Application Development & Coding

    · Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with design specifications.
  2. Unit & Integration Testing

    · Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to verify code quality, functionality, and system integration.
  3. Defect Identification & Resolution

    · Collaborate with the QA team to identify, track, and resolve software defects and issues.
  4. Code Reviews & Best Practices

    · Participate in peer code reviews and ensure compliance with established coding standards and architectural guidelines.
  5. Application Deployment & Support

    · Assist in deploying applications across various environments and provide support after deployment.
  6. Vendor & Tool Assessment

    · Evaluate development tools, frameworks, and third-party components for performance, efficiency, and security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in application development, including web and/or mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript, with an emphasis on building secure and scalable applications.
  • Experience designing and executing unit tests and integration tests to validate functionality and system stability.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and debugging tools to manage code changes and troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to overcome technical challenges.
