Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operate NIR equipment for routine analysis of raw materials, finished Feeds, and in-process samples.
  2. Prepare and handle samples following standard laboratory procedures
  3. Ensure NIR instruments are clear, properly set up, and calibrated before use
  4. Record and encode analysis results accurately in the NIR database or laboratory information system
  5. Perform daily instrument checks and report any performance issues to the NIR Specialist or QA Laboratory Manager
  6. Assist in calibration updates and verification activities as instructed
  7. Maintain and organize NIR analysis logs, calibration files, and maintenance records.
  8. Follow quality assurance protocols to ensure reliability and consistency of NIR results
  9. Observe safety and equipment handling guidelines at all time
  10. Participate in internal and external audits, as required
  11. Support the NIR Specialist in improving analysis methods and troubleshooting minor technical issues
  12. Ensue Timely submission of NIR Anaylsis reports for production and quality monitoring
  13. Perform other related laboratory duties as may be assigned by the QA laboratory Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of any science-related course, BS Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Agriculture, Food Technology, Biology, Environmental Science
  • License: Having a Chemical Technician is an advantage but not required
  • Experience : With or Without Experience,
  • Experience in feed analysis or NIR operation is an advantage but not required
  • Special Skills : Must be willing to train, honest, obedient, and trustworthy.
