Job Title: Fortran Application Support Engineer

Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Location: Taguig, Uptown Bonifacio Tower 2

Duration: 6-month contract

Working Hours: 45 hours per week

Shift: 2pm to 12mn

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Level 3 support, investigating and resolving tickets - this can include on call support.

  • Work on enhancements - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in application development.

  • Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Conduct regular reviews of project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Fortran programming language.

  • Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Open VMS, Linux, SQL.

  • Strong understanding of application development life cycle and methodologies.

  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications. - Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.

  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.

Must have and Good to have skills: Fortran, OVMS
