Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant and/or US CMA
  • Must have valid PTIN (from IRS)
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience as an Accountant in a US public accounting firm
  • Must have working experience in QuickBooks including the ability to run reports and record adjusting journal entries
  • Preferably with a strong concentration in tax
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Ability to identify and research tax and accounting issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions
  • Hands-on experience in preparing and/or reviewing US business income tax returns (Forms 1065 and 1120S).
  • Experience preparing and/or reviewing US individual income tax returns (Form 1040).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
  • Willing to work the night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or review US business income tax returns, including Partnership (Form 1065) and S Corporation (Form 1120S)
  • Prepare and/or review US individual income tax returns (Form 1040)
  • Identify, research, and resolve complex tax and accounting issues, and prepare written conclusions for presentation to clients
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tax filings and reports
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
