Line Cook – Events

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of food for banquet events and large-volume service.
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards set by the Banquet Chef/Sous Chef.
  • Ensure ingredients, equipment, and mise en place are prepared ahead of service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workstation, tools, and equipment at all times.
  • Properly store and label ingredients to ensure freshness and reduce wastage.
  • Support the banquet team during buffet setup, service execution, and breakdown.
  • Assist in inventory, stock rotation, and monitoring ingredient levels.
  • Work efficiently during peak event functions and respond quickly to kitchen needs.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operating procedures.
  • Continuously improve culinary skills and adapt to menu or event requirements.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in hot kitchen/banquet operations or gastronomic production.
  • Knowledge in basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and large-batch production.
  • Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and standard kitchen procedures accurately.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment, especially during high-volume events.
  • Team player with good attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
  • Flexible availability during weekends, holidays, and event-heavy schedules.
  • Physically fit for long-standing hours and continuous kitchen movement/work.
  • Strong sense of cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php17, Php19,000.00 per month
