Customs Processor

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, permits, declarations, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tariff codes, and government requirements
• File and process import/export entries in coordination with customs brokers
• Track and monitor the status of shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery
• Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal departments
• Assist in resolving customs-related issues, penalties, or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and updated records of customs transactions and documents
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on shipment status and customs processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related field
• Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage but not required
• At least 1–2 years of experience in customs processing, import/export, or freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of Bureau of Customs rules, procedures, and documentation requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with customs systems (e.g., E2M, CPRS)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Strong communication and coordination skills
