JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for strengthening NetSolar's project delivery execution. Managing a team of 12–15 Site Engineers (SEs) and Project Engineers (PEs), this role ensures consistent implementation of site standards, technical methodologies, and project delivery discipline across all projects. The position serves as both a people leader and technical authority, tasked with raising engineering maturity, instilling professional governance practices, and developing the next generation of engineering leaders. This position is pivotal in preparing NetSolar for IPO-level scrutiny by demonstrating operational excellence, talent depth, and robust delivery standards.

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and manage a team of 12–15 engineers (SEs and PEs), providing direction, structure, and accountability.
  • Define and institutionalize site implementation methodologies, quality standards, and governance frameworks aligned with NetSolar's growth and IPO readiness.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline across project delivery.
  • Provide credible leadership presence for external stakeholders, including clients, auditors, and investors, as part of IPO due diligence.
  • Establish 2–3 senior SEs/PEs as team leads to support supervision and scale the structure as the organization grows.

Technical Authority & Standards

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical and site-related issues, providing solutions that align with codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Oversee technical quality assurance across site works, installation, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Drive consistency in project documentation, testing, commissioning, and handover deliverables.
  • Ensure seamless alignment with Design, Procurement, and Project Management functions.

People Development & Capability Building

  • Mentor and upskill SEs and PEs from Level 1–2 to at least Level 3 competency within 12 months.
  • Establish structured career progression, training roadmaps, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and build succession pipelines for future leadership roles.
  • Model professional maturity, stakeholder management, and accountability expected of IPO-ready leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (required).
  • Licensed Engineer (required; Professional Electrical Engineer preferred).
  • 12–15 years of cumulative experience in EPC, construction, or renewable energy.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams. - Proven experience establishing standards, governance processes, and capability development.
