General Accounting Staff

Local payables account processing (Suppliers)

  • Verifies accuracy of the Payment Request Form against supplier's invoice. Ensures that the payment request has been supported by the duly approved Requisition Form. Coordinate discrepancy to the requestor.
  • Create AP set-up entry at the ERP Module and ensures accuracy and completeness in transactions recording.
  • Sorts the Payment Requests based on due dates. Prepares checques ,vouchers, and BIR Form 2307 accordingly, then forwards to the Treasury Assistant for signatures of authorized signatories.
  • Ensures that all payables to local suppliers are recorded and paid on time and ensure that payables are maintained on its current status.

Processing of utilities and office rent for payment

  • Verifies accuracy of charges against the Billing Statement or Statement of Account of telephone bills, gasoline, electricity & water consumption, and office rent.
  • Prepares Request for Payment accordingly for approval of authorized signatories.
  • Inputs the utilities payables in the monitoring worksheet.
  • Prepare checks, vouchers, and BIR Form 2307 accordingly, then forwards to the Treasury Assistant for signatures of authorized signatories. Debit outright to expense. No need to create AP set-up.
  • Monitors and ensure that all utility bills such as telephone, electricity, and others were processed for payment before the due dates.

Monthly Financial Recording

  • Prepares Journal Entries for monthly accruals, provisions, and adjustments. Ensures that monthly provisions and accruals were recorded based on generally accepted accounting standards.
  • Assists in the preparation of various schedules to support financial statements.
  • Be able to do initial analysis of overhead expenses by noting material variances or significant increase(decrease).
  • Preparation of Journal Entries for the liquidation of various cash advances for official business.

Other Tasks

  • Assist the immediate superiors in the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Assist the immediate superiors in the preparation of year-end audit requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
