URGENT HIRING SITE BACKHOE OPERATOR (Project-based contract)

LOCATION : Block 5, Manhattan St., Upper East Bacolod, Barangay 41 (Pob.), Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Visayas, 6100

PROJECT NAME : KINGSFORD HOTEL (MEGAWORLD CORP.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate backhoes to dig trenches, holes, and foundations, as well as to load and transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and debris.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on backhoes, including cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by grading and leveling land, and ensuring that areas are marked for safety before digging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other construction workers, engineers, and project managers to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing protective gear and maintaining communication with crew members to prevent accidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience operating backhoes or similar heavy machinery.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and to operate machinery with precision.
  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods, often in various weather conditions.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report any mechanical issues.
