Key Responsibilities1. IT Operations & Support
- Supervise day-to-day IT support for Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Distribution teams.
- Ensure smooth functioning of POS systems, ERP modules (Sales, Inventory, Distribution), and mobile sales applications.
- Monitor and resolve user issues related to hardware, software, printers, POS devices, scanners, and handhelds.
- Maintain service-level response times and ensure minimal operational downtime.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, VPN, and firewalls.
- Ensure server performance, system backups, and data security measures.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols.
- Provide functional support for ERP systems used in sales, distribution, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and system enhancements.
- Assist in data extraction, reporting, and system configurations.
- Maintain records for laptops, desktops, handheld devices, printers, routers, and other IT assets.
- Plan and execute hardware upgrades or replacements.
- Ensure timely repair and maintenance of critical distribution equipment (e.g., barcode scanners).
- Support implementation of IT projects such as system upgrades, network expansions, and new software deployments.
- Evaluate new technologies that can enhance distribution efficiency (e.g., route optimization tools, warehouse automation).
- Prepare project documentation and progress reports.
- Supervise and mentor IT technicians and support staff.
- Delegate tasks and ensure completion based on priorities.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on IT systems and security awareness.
- Enforce cybersecurity policies and ensure protection of company data.
- Monitor antivirus, security patches, and update schedules.
- Support IT audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of IT experience, preferably in sales, distribution, or FMCG environments.
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or local ERP).
- Strong knowledge of networks, servers, firewalls, and Microsoft environments.
Skills Required
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
- Knowledge of sales/distribution processes (van sales, route planning, inventory flows).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
