Job purpose
Physically creates the designs, develops and draws up the space management system and utilisation for New Centre Openings (NCO) and other possible projects in the Asia Pacific Region, Middle East, Africa, Europe, UK and the Americas using information provided by the lead managers based on Regus standards and established floor planning requirements that represents a "Centre of Excellence" in the area of workspace planning.
Duties and responsibilities
- Analyze the space utilization effectiveness and changing demands for space needs and acts to meet new requirements
- Assign or classify space according to pertinent standards and procedures
- Design and implement programs and processes to deliver operational effectiveness targets within the area of space management
- Preparation of layout plans to support Asia Pacific growth
- Development of model centre design drawings and specifications
- Support the development of new designs in parallel with Regus' product development
- Support the base business workspace needs in existing business centres
- Interface with NCO Project Management teams in other geographies and with other global teams
- Actively participate in sharing best practices across departments, geographies and regions
- Possible travel to various sites to conduct site survey and physical inspections
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Being a licensed Architect or Interior Designer is an advantage but is not a requirement
- Should have at least seven (7) years of relevant work experience in a related field and at least three (3) years on commercial/office space planning
- Must have excellent English language communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have experience on space management computer applications and highly proficient in AutoCAD software
- Proficiency in other necessary computer software and equipment
- Extensive experience on facilities space management and sound knowledge on space utilization
- Ability to work to deadlines and work as part of a team
- Strong to excellent conceptual skills in floor and space planning
- Must have an excellent attitude towards work and is self-disciplined
Working conditions
- Must be able to work Independently
- Can cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work.
- Able to keep up with the fast paced but quality results
