Role Overview

We are seeking a Baker – Chef de Partie level who will be responsible for producing high-quality breads and buns that meet the standards of Gordon Ramsay Street Burger. You will oversee the preparation, baking, and presentation of bakery products, ensure consistency and excellence, and maintain a clean and efficient workstation.

This role requires strong technical baking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, buns, and related bakery items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper fermentation, proofing, and baking processes are followed for consistency.
  • Manage daily mise en place and production schedules to meet service demands.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bakery station at all times.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory, minimize wastage, and report shortages to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.).
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with company and local regulations.
  • Support junior staff in learning bakery techniques and uphold teamwork within the kitchen brigade.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine bakery items when needed.
  • Uphold Gordon Ramsay Restaurants' brand values of excellence, consistency, and passion for food.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 2–3 years of professional baking experience, preferably in high-volume restaurants, hotels, or bakeries.
  • Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, dough handling, fermentation, and baking.
  • Previous experience at a Chef de Partie level or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver consistent results.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
