Position Title: Senior Software Programmer

Role Overview:

The Senior Software Programmer is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting web-based applications used across the organization. This role plays a key part in system development, code quality assurance, task coordination, and technical guidance for junior developers while adopting modern tools to improve development efficiency.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, and maintain application features and system components requested by internal departments.
  • Review, test, and correct programs developed by junior programmers to ensure stability and performance.
  • Keep assigned development tasks updated and aligned with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Manage and optimize database structures to support system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Apply source control practices to manage code versions and development changes.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools and modern development methods to speed up coding and debugging tasks.
  • Participate in system enhancements, updates, and long-term maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in programming or web development.
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integration.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
  • Working familiarity with development frameworks such as Laravel and
  • Comfortable using productivity tools like spreadsheets and document applications.
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to guide and review the work of less-experienced developers
  • Good task management and organizational abilities
  • High attention to detail and coding standards
  • Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical coordination
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
