About the Role:

DIY Hardware is looking for a hands-on, analytical, and business-minded Category Buyer (In-House Brands) to take full ownership of our in-house brands such as WORKMAN (tools and accessories) and DIY Home (household essentials). This person will lead all aspects of brand performance—from product planning and store allocation, to sales growth strategies and inventory management.

In addition to handling our in-house brands, the successful candidate will also serve as Buyer for minor departments, supporting overall merchandising efficiency and driving sales in other small but strategic categories.

Key Responsibilities:

In-House Brands Management (WORKMAN, DIY Home, etc.)

  • Lead product planning and development for in-house SKUs
  • Monitor sales performance across all stores and online platforms (Shopee, TikTok, etc.)
  • Plan and implement inventory allocation and replenishment per branch
  • Monitor slow-moving items and execute stock disposal strategies (e.g., markdowns, bundles, transfers)
  • Coordinate with Marketing, E-commerce, and Store Operations to support promotions and visibility
  • Ensure healthy inventory turnover and target profitability for in-house product lines

Buyer Responsibilities – Minor Departments

  • Manage procurement and assortment for assigned smaller categories
  • Monitor pricing, product mix, and vendor performance
  • Review sales trends and adjust buying strategies accordingly
  • Coordinate with warehouse and store teams for smooth flow of merchandise

Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail buying, category management, or product merchandising
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Background in importation, product development, or in-house brand management is an advantage
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple product lines simultaneously
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
