Inventory Associate

The Inventory Associate – Watsons/Kitting is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular audits, kitting processes, and coordination with internal teams. The role supports the efficient preparation and assembly of kitted products for Watsons and other retail channels, ensuring inventory integrity, timely fulfilment, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock levels in the system (manual or ERP-based).
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials or products.
Kitting Operations:
- Assemble kits accurately according to work orders or client specifications (e.g., Watsons SKUs).
- Verify all components are included and in good condition before sealing and labelling kits.
- Prepare kitting batches for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
Quality & Compliance:
- Conduct quality checks during kitting to prevent errors or product defects.
- Follow company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), safety, and cleanliness protocols.
- Report damaged or defective inventory items and ensure they are segregated and logged.
Coordination & Support:
- Work with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to coordinate kitting schedules and inventory updates.
- Assist in stock transfers, returns, and proper storage of inventory items.
- Help optimize space utilization and organization of stock and materials.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and physical activity.
- Use of standard warehouse equipment (e.g., barcode scanners, pallet jacks).
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
