About the role

At Southern Arms Corporation, we are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a fulltime Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring the protection of our employees, visitors, and assets.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting regular patrols and monitoring of the premises to identify and address any potential security risks or hazards
2. Controlling and monitoring access to the premises, including verifying the identity and purpose of visitors
3. Responding promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
4. Maintaining detailed records and reports of all security-related activities and occurrences
5. Collaborating with the security team and other relevant personnel to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to security
6. Adhering to all applicable security policies, procedures, and regulations to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a security or related role, with a proven track record of providing excellent security services
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals
3. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail to identify and respond to potential security threats
4. A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
5. A valid security guard license or certification, as required by local regulations
6. Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties
