Job Summary :

  • Monitor the conduct of incoming inspection of RAW Materials, traded products and integral parts of finish products. supervise in-process, final and pre delivery inspection done by QA Inspections. Plans QA schedule and daily activities studies, analyzes and standardize different QA/QC processes and recommend solutions or recommend solutions or improvements if necessary. Implement/improve quality controls. Tracks individual progress of subordinates. Coaches/motivates direct reports to achieve department objectives. Ensure compliance on statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensures reliability of monitoring and measuring equipment.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plans, prepares and coordinates the daily work schedule and work assignment of all QA Inspectors. Ensures that there are no disruptions to operations due to absences. Implements rotation, when necessary.

  2. Conducts toolbox meeting per shift. Ensure smooth turn over to to the incoming duty QA officer.

  3. Monitors the conduct of approval for mass production, In-process inspection and final inspection done by QA inspectors.

  4. Monitors the conduct of all laboratory testing and analysis done by lab technician and analyst.

  5. Attends to all reported abnormalities during quality inspections to ensure that appropriate actions have been taken or recommended by QA Inspectors.

  6. Studies/analyzes operating methods and procedures of all sections in the department and recommends appropriate measures to improve workflow/ processes and communication flow.

  7. Studies/analyzes work problems, gathers relevant data and recommends possible solutions or improvement.

  8. Orients subordinates on safety measures and procedures relating to the handling of hands tools and equipment used during quality inspections and ensures that these are implemented.

  9. Monitors all external functional and laboratory testing being conducted to ensure that prescribed policies and procedures are being observed at all times.

  10. Assist/conduct in-house training for QA personnel. Assist QA head in identifying training needs of QA inspectors.

  11. Assist QA head in preparation of Quality Control Plan and in Implementation of it.

  12. Assist QA head in product and QA process standardization.

  13. Prepares and submit process defective monitoring report weekly.

  14. Monitors the conduct of incoming and pre-delivery inspections and testing

  15. Prepares and submit to the QA Head the Daily Process Report and the consolidated QA inspection Report based on all reports submitted by the QA Inspector.

Qualification:

  • Atleast college graduate of any 4 year-course. Engineering related is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Background in pipe manufacturing industry is an advantage but not a must.
  • Knowledgeable in different quality control tools.
  • Exhibit problem solving skills
  • Has strong planning, leading, organizing an d controlling skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php28,000.00 per month
