About the Plumber / Pipefitter role
The ideal candidate should be a skilled plumber who can install, maintain, and fix all kinds of pipes for water and drainage systems. We need an experienced Plumber / Pipe Fitter who is dependable and takes pride in their work. The candidate must also have technical knowledge on how to install the pipes for a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The candidate must be physically fit and able to work in different conditions. We need someone who is resourceful in solving problems like blockages and leaks, and who always follows safety rules.
A Plumber / Pipefitter's duties & responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Installing new water pipes, drainage systems, and fixtures like toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Repairing leaky pipes, faucets, and clogged drains using the proper tools and techniques.
- Cutting, bending, and connecting pipes made of different materials like PVC, copper, or steel.
- Connecting pipe networks to Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) systems according to technical plans.
- Reading and understanding construction plans and drawings to lay out pipe systems correctly.
- Testing all pipe connections with pressure gauges to make sure there are absolutely no leaks.
- Maintaining plumbing systems by performing regular checks to find and prevent future problems.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Reporting regularly supervisors to provide updates and address concerns daily and summarized monthly maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials on the construction site
- Enforcing safety protocols and provide guidance to workers to maintain a safe working environment
- Suggest-for-Hire, mentor, and train fellow skilled laborers, sharing your expertise and helping to develop their skills
- Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments
Job Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the the field/s of Plumbing unless the candidate has exhibited remarkable results academically or professionally. In such cases, relevant experience can be less than three (3) years, commensurate with achievements.
- Thorough understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues on the spot
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Initial monthly salary range for this role is from PHP 14, ,000 and is commensurate to relevant job experience.

- This position requires the employee to report to the admin office at Lokal Malls, Molino
Working Conditions
- Plumber / Pipefitters may work on construction sites, in factories, or in workshops
- They may be exposed to dust, fumes, odors, heights, and loud noises
- They may need to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects
