The Accounting Manager will lead the end-to-end accounting operations of Engkanto Brewery and its F&B subsidiaries, including multi-branch taprooms and bar/restaurant operations. This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of managing branch-level accounting, has a keen eye for operational efficiency, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a fast-paced, growing environment. You'll supervise a small team of accounting professionals, manage compliance and reporting, and provide financial insights that support both corporate and operational-level decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee day-to-day accounting functions across head office and branch locations (bars, taprooms, etc.). Monitor branch-level sales, costs, inventory, and petty cash transactions. Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Track branch profitability and prepare monthly P&Ls per location. Coordinate with operations and supply chain on cost controls and revenue tracking. Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and government regulations (e.g., BIR, SEC).

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns. Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and generate financial reports. Supervise and train accounting staff.

Continuously improve accounting systems, internal controls, and branch-level processes. Coordinate with external auditors and other third-party financial partners. Lead budgeting and forecasting activities across branches.

Analyze variances and provide financial insights to the management team. Support management in making cost-saving and revenue-enhancing decisions. QualificationsBachelor's degree in accountancy or related field

Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience with exposure in:Accounts Payable & ReceivableTax ComplianceSolid background in the F&B industry (restaurant/bar/hospitality experience highly preferred)Hands-on experience in multi-branch financial oversight

Strong knowledge of local taxation and compliance (e.g., BIR)Proficiency in accounting software and ExcelWilling to work on a hybrid setup and travel to Makati when neededCPA licensed

Experience using POS-integrated accounting systems

Background in handling bar/taproom subsidiaries or similar setups

Experience Quickbooks navigation
