Job Description
Position Title: Senior Building & Facilities Engineer
Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Building & Facilities Engineer to lead operational excellence in service delivery for site operations and equipment maintenance. This role requires a registered mechanical engineer with extensive supervisory experience to ensure optimal facility performance, technical data management, and equipment availability at our FPIP client site in Tanauan, Batangas.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery

• Lead operational excellence initiatives for site operations and equipment maintenance programs
• Monitor and analyze technical parameters data to optimize facility performance
• Manage technical consumables inventory to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Track and report daily or per-shift equipment availability and operational status
• Implement maintenance engineering best practices and asset management frameworks

Technical Leadership & Management

• Plan, execute, and manage minor and major equipment maintenance projects
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and develop comprehensive maintenance checklists
• Lead technical teams in complex maintenance activities and troubleshooting
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external maintenance services
• Ensure compliance with energy management system requirements

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements, permits, and licenses (MEPF & EHS)
• Implement and oversee occupational health and safety programs (minimum SO2 level required)
• Ensure environmental compliance across all facility operations
• Manage safety protocols and incident prevention programs

Specialized Systems Management

• Operate and maintain chiller systems, dust collectors, and compressed dry air systems
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Develop and implement system optimization strategies

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Registered Mechanical Engineer (non-negotiable requirement)
• Minimum SO2 certification in Occupational Health & Safety

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years direct experience in engineering, site operations, and asset maintenance & management in manufacturing facilities and/or large commercial portfolios
• Minimum 8 years supervisory level experience with people management responsibilities in manufacturing and/or commercial facilities

Location Requirement

• Must reside near Tanauan, Batangas or within 1-hour travel time from FPIP client site

Required Technical Competencies

• Advanced knowledge in maintenance engineering and asset maintenance & management frameworks
• Expertise in equipment maintenance planning, execution, and project management
• Proficiency in energy management systems
• Strong understanding of environmental compliance requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health & safety programs
• Experience with local regulatory compliance, permits & licenses (MEPF & EHS)
• Hands-on experience with chiller system operations, dust collectors, and compressed dry air systems
• Proven vendor management capabilities
• Ability to lead technical teams effectively
• Experience developing and implementing equipment daily and preventive maintenance checklists
