Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
Workday Functional Consultant (HCM Specialist)
to support our HR Technology team. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience with
Workday HCM (Core Module)
and exposure to at least one additional module such as
Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, or Reporting
.

This position is
not configuration-heavy
. Instead, it focuses on:

  • Data audits & integrity
  • Governance
  • Documentation
  • Reporting
  • HR process optimization

However,
previous Workday configuration experience is required
, as the role occasionally leverages module knowledge for insights and process improvements.

Ideal module combinations include:

HCM + Time Tracking
,
HCM + Benefits
, or
HCM + Compensation
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data audits, enforce governance standards, and ensure accuracy within Workday.
  • Document HR processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Generate Workday reports and deliver analytics for HR leaders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives using Workday capabilities.
  • Assist end-users with Workday-related issues and deliver basic training when needed.
  • Partner with HR and IT teams to enhance HR operations and data workflows.
  • Maintain updated system documentation and support continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years
    of hands-on experience with
    Workday HCM (Core Module)
    .
  • Experience with at least
    one additional module
    (Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, or Compensation).
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, governance, and system documentation.
  • Previous Workday configuration experience
    is mandatory.
  • Experience with HR data management or analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem solver.
  • BPO experience is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Workday Certification (Highly Advantageous)
  • Experience in HR Technology, HRIS, or consulting environments
  • Extended knowledge across multiple Workday modules
