  • Setup IT Standards for IT-related systems, networks, security and assets.
  • Develop and update IT documentation, manuals, and guidelines for users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain the organization's computer systems and networks to ensure efficiency and security.
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Establish effective and efficient response activities pertaining to service issues and requests from management executives and employees.
  • Provide technical support across the company, both onsite and remotely.
  • Ensure newly set up accounts for new users with secure and proper access and permissions.
  • Establish and maintain data security, network access and protocols, and processes for backup systems.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to IT infrastructure and processes.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance, upgrades, and purchases of IT equipment/software.
  • Lead and guide the team to meet management objectives pertaining to IT improvements and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support, or similar role. Preferably has good experience in leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Good knowledge in various programming languages (i.e., C++, Python, PHP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and platforms.
  • Knowledge in cybersecurity practices and data protection.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver management objectives pertaining to IT-related matters.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, if required.
