Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems
• Manage job scheduling and automation (Control-M or equivalent)
• Handle backup and recovery using
  BRMS
• Apply
  PTFs and OS upgrades
• Perform system performance tuning and optimization
• Manage system security, access, and compliance
• Support
  DB2/400
  database operations
• Execute
  Disaster Recovery
  planning and testing
• Collaborate with application teams for deployments and ongoing support

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with
  IBM iSeries (AS/400) administration
• Expertise in system operations, job scheduling, and performance tuning
• Backup & Recovery management using
  BRMS
• Security administration and compliance
• Experience with
  PTF and OS upgrades
• Solid troubleshooting skills for system and application issues
• Good understanding of
  DB2/400

Nice-to-Have Skills

• CL programming and automation scripting
• Experience with
  Control-M
  or similar scheduling tools
• Exposure to high-availability and DR solutions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
