Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in Linux system administration, platform support, and cloud technologies, who is eager to expand both technical and interpersonal skills. You will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and improving infrastructure while contributing to process automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and support requests on time
• Monitor and review system performance and implementations
• Test, deploy, and maintain changes to systems and environments
• Provide administration and maintenance of customer environments
• Build, support, and optimize new environments
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed
• Create and maintain clear process documentation
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in business English (written and verbal)
• Technical and business knowledge to prioritize and triage customer problems
• Academic or hobbyist experience with Redhat-based Linux distributions (Redhat, CentOS, Rocky, etc.)
• Ability to debug issues and trace root causes
• Ability to write scripts in any language of your choice
• Familiarity with software version control (SVN or GIT)

We'll support your growth with both formal and informal training, but if you have these, you'll stand out:

• Experience administering complex Azure implementations
• Familiarity with cloud hosting providers (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Puppet, Ansible, or Chef
• Experience running Kubernetes (directly or via providers like AKS, EKS, DOKS)
• Background in Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, or other automation tools
• ITIL certification
