Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. This role involves leading the accounting team, preparing accurate financial reports, and delivering strategic insights to support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical accounting expertise, and a proactive approach to safeguarding and enhancing the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, local tax laws, and internal control procedures.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to maximize performance and capability.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and ongoing financial operations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  • Manage special projects, audits, and ad hoc financial reporting as directed by senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
  • 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial audits, and regulatory reporting is an advantage.
