Job Summary:As a Structural Engineer

• Signage, you will be responsible for designing the structural and technical components of signage, including monument signs, raceways, and other large-scale signage projects.

You will ensure that all designs not only meet structural and safety requirements but also achieve a high level of visual quality. This role involves creating detailed, accurate technical drawings, calculating load/weight capacities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and producing engineering documentation to make sure that all designs are ready for manufacturing and installation. Key Responsibilities:Design structural elements for signage (monument signs, pylon signs, raceways, etc.)Create accurate technical drawings and realistic previews showcasing color accuracy, lighting, and placement.

Calculate load, weight, and structural support for signage installations to meet safety standards. Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all designs. Produce engineering documentation, including exploded views and assembly drawings for manufacturers.

Collaborate with manufacturers and engineering teams to deliver production-ready designs with accurate measurements and specifications. Provide recommendations on materials and construction techniques based on structural analysis. Key Focus

Areas:Signage Structure Expertise: Deep understanding of signage architecture and structural components, especially for monument signs. Technical Drawings: Ability to create detailed technical drawings for signage, including structural and engineering aspects. Production-Ready Designs: Develop designs that are ready for manufacturing, ensuring all specifications meet client and production needs.

Engineering Documentation: Assist in producing engineering drawings, including calculations for load, weight, and support, particularly for raceways and large signage installations. End-to-End Design: Capable of designing and building signage from scratch, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards. Qualifications and Skills:Graduate with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience.

A licensed engineer or architect is preferred. Expertise in 3D modeling software: AutoCAD (or SketchUp and SolidWorks) for structural design and technical drawings. Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design tools for integrating visual elements into technical drawings.

Proficiency in load calculation, weight distribution, and material strength analysis for signage. Strong knowledge of signage structures, including raceways, foundations, and load-bearing components. Experience creating exploded views, assembly guides, and technical fabrication documentation for manufacturers.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, manufacturers, and internal design teams. Ability to produce engineering drawings that comply with local building codes and industry regulations. Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques used in signage.

Compensation: 36,000 PHP

• 49,500 depending on experience.
