PROJECT ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTIONGeneral Description

The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures project documentation, safety compliance, site coordination, and timely completion of tasks. This includes managing and processing all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals related to the project.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspection and monitor progress to ensure work is aligned with plans and specifications.

2. Permits, Licenses & Regulatory Compliance

  • Process and secure all required government and regulatory permits, licenses, clearances, and certifications for the project/site.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with building codes, environmental laws, safety standards, and local regulations.
  • Maintain updated records and expiration tracking for all permits and renewals.
  • Liaise with government agencies, LGUs, barangay offices, environmental agencies, and safety regulatory bodies.

3. Documentation & Reports

  • Prepare and maintain project-related documents: drawings, reports, logs, specifications, inspection forms, and correspondence.
  • Submit progress reports and updates to management and clients.
  • Ensure proper filing and controlled distribution of project documentation.

4. Site Coordination & Supervision

  • Support the project team in coordinating daily site activities.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor work to ensure quality and safety compliance.
  • Participate in site meetings, toolbox meetings, and safety walkthroughs.

5. Cost & Materials Monitoring

  • Assist in monitoring project expenses and control costs based on approved budget.
  • Coordinate material requests, deliveries, and inventory updates.
  • Verify contractor billings, purchase requests, and requisitions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • With experience in construction or project management (preferred but not required)
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and permit processes
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project monitoring tools
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php17, Php21,000.00 per month
