Our Branch Banking Group is looking for experienced professionals to join us with the role of Sales Director.

In this role you will be leading a high-performing sales team by fostering a collaborative and winning culture, and develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and drive business growth. You will also provide direction to Area Sales Directors, Business Sales Managers and Sales Associates to meet sales goals and manage leads creation and sales pipeline, including sales plans and workflows.

What the role will entail

  • Set sales targets, manage team performance, and ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Drive the Sales Team to generate New-to-Business (NTB) and increase deposit volume.
  • Track sales performance, address key gaps with Region/Division Heads, and develop salespeople.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to communicate targets, recognize achievements, and address challenges.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, providing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Business Units like CMS, SEDEX, and CBG to align sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Monitor industry trends, identify opportunities, and adjust sales strategies to stay competitive.

What we're looking for:

  • Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
  • At least five (5) years experience in the Banking industry, preferably in the area of Retail Banking, and with proven experience as an Area Manager or in similar sales leadership role
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and successfully managing sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques and best practices, and the ability to adapt them to different markets and customer segments
  • Excellent communicator and collaborates well with managers/ supervisors to effect change
