We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Hemodialysis Technician to grow with Southwestern University Medical Center

Job Responsibilities:

• Primes or prepares dialyzers and dialysis bath according to formula
• Prepares, rinses, disinfects dialysis machines prior to treatment
• Calibrates reprocessing machines at the start of the day prior to use
• Collects all used dialyzers in the dialysis area in accordance with techniques in prevention and control of spillage and contamination
• Performs reprocessing of all used dialyzers
• Assess reprocessed dialyzers for acceptability
• Labels all used dialyzers properly
• Records dialyzer; re-uses number in hemodialysis flow sheet
• Stores reprocessed dialyzers in an orderly manner
• Conducts preventive maintenance of hemodialysis machines, machine repairs and monitoring of machine-related problems
• Assists the nurse with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and documentation
• Assist in all emergency operational procedures and in performing basic CPR measures during cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest

Qualifications:

• With NC II Hemodialysis Technician (TESDA-accredited)
• At least 1 year experience in a dialysis unit, clinical setting, or hospital.
• Possesses strong knowledge of dialysis principles and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• With relevant Hemodialysis certifications and training is a plus

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
