Department: Financial Management & Controlling (Accounting)

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Finance or in a similar senior finance role
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
  • Solid expertise in financial analysis and forecasting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and financial management software (e.g., SAP)
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MS/MA is a plus)
  • CPA or other relevant qualification required
  • Experience working in the UAE finance field (2018 onwards is a strong advantage)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to train on finance systems and perform process diagnostics/improvements
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong drive, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the company's financial planning by analyzing performance and risk
  • Maintain constant awareness of financial position and act to prevent issues
  • Set performance targets and supervise accounting and finance personnel (approx. 10 team members)
  • Oversee audits and internal control operations
  • Prepare detailed quarterly and annual financial performance reports
  • Conduct financial forecasts and report to senior executives
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines
  • Oversee finance operations for an internationally operating company
  • Develop, educate, and lead the finance department toward sustained profitability and long-term success
