Branch Supervisor

As Branch Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of an Overdoughs branch to ensure smooth service, maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, sanitation, and team performance. You will lead and support the branch team to meet sales targets, enforce company standards, and deliver a consistently excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day branch operations: open/close procedures, cash handling, POS operations, and shift supervision.
- Lead, train, and supervise branch staff (service crew, cashiers, kitchen attendants, etc.) to ensure they follow company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure quality of products (pastries, desserts, beverages) and presentation standards are maintained at all times.
- Maintain inventory: monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering and restocking of supplies, and help minimize wastage or shrinkage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in front-of-house and back-of-house areas — including dining area, counters, kitchen/bakery, storage, and waste disposal.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service; handle customer inquiries, feedback, or complaints and act to resolve them promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
- Monitor branch sales and performance against targets; help identify opportunities to improve sales, service, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to higher management: sales numbers, inventory usage, staffing, and operational issues.
- Assist in staff scheduling and shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Foster a positive work environment: motivate staff, coach and mentor team members, manage performance, and support professional growth.
- Support promotional activities, marketing efforts, and customer engagement initiatives as directed by corporate/marketing team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Management, or related preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in food service, retail, bakery, or quick-service restaurant environment — ideally with supervisory or team lead experience.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills: ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both with staff and customers).
- Good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and ability to multitask under a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-service oriented, with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation standards; willingness to enforce and maintain these standards.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills; familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
