About the role :

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ka Kuen Chua Architectural, based in Metro Manila and willing to be assigned in Baguio, Bataan, and Cavite area. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in the successful delivery of our engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing :

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.

What we're looking for :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the engineering industry. Experienced in medium rise building construction is an advantage.
  • Reliable in doing estimates and bill of materials.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, design, and construction methods.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and control project activities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
