Location: Dog Ranch Country Club, Lipa

Department: Operations & Logistics

Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Overview

The Company Driver plays a vital role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation for the Dog Ranch. This includes transporting dogs, staff, clients, and supplies while maintaining the safety and comfort of all passengers—human and canine. The driver also supports logistics, errands, and facility operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dog & Client Transport
  • Safely transport dogs to and from the Dog Ranch, veterinary clinics, grooming appointments, and client residences.
  • Ensure proper use of crates, harnesses, and safety gear for canine passengers.
  • Assist clients and their pets during pick-up and drop-off.
  • Staff & Operations Support
  • Drive staff and management to meetings, events, or errands as required.
  • Handle delivery and pick-up of supplies, equipment, and documents.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and securing cargo.
  • Vehicle Care & Safety
  • Maintain cleanliness, roadworthiness, and fuel levels of assigned vehicles.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks (oil, tire pressure, battery, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager for repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company driving policies.
  • General Duties
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel receipts, and transport schedules.
  • Provide assistance to handlers during transport if dogs are reactive or anxious.
  • Support Ranch logistics during peak events (Dog Pool Parties, Weddings, Club Activities).

Qualifications

  • Valid Professional Driver's License (Restriction 1, 2, and 3 preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a professional driver; experience in pet or logistics transport is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Lipa City and Metro Manila routes; comfortable with long drives.
  • Physically fit and able to lift/carry up to 25kg (dogs, crates, supplies).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially with clients and pet parents.
  • Must be patient, attentive, and comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
