Roles and Responsibilites

Laravel Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
  • Implement and optimize application performance, security, and database interactions (e.g., Eloquent ORM).
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end (e.g., Blade templates, JavaScript frameworks like if applicable) and back-end components.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and services.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.

SharePoint Development & Administration:

  • Develop and customize SharePoint solutions, including sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
  • Manage user permissions, security, and access controls within SharePoint.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint users and functionalities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and assist with maintenance tasks.

General Web Development:

  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across different development environments.
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework (versions 8+, 9+, or 10+).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and customizing SharePoint solutions (SharePoint Online preferred).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration or Power Automate.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Softskills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in web development, specifically with Laravel and SharePoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
