About the role

As an Electrician at Southern Arms Corporation, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the company's facilities. This is a full-time position based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.

What you'll be doing

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, switchboards, and other electrical components
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement appropriate corrective measures
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
  4. Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed
  5. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and prioritise electrical projects
  6. Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements

What we're looking for

  1. With NC2 TESDA Certificate
  2. Formal qualification in electrical trade, such as a diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  3. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
  4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
  5. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
  6. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  7. Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  8. Good communication and teamwork skills
