Qualification:

  • College Level or Graduate of any Business Related course, fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Purchasing experience of atleast 6 months or more.
  • Knowledge in Purchase Ordering and Negotiation Skills.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Database.
  • With great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Importation experience is an advantage.

Basic Function:

  • Receives Purchase Requests from all End-users or sections
  • Raw Materials ordering (such as Ingot, Component Parts, etc.)
  • Canvass and request Quotations, negotiation to supplier and selection of best quotation (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
  • Confirms & clarifies order if received based on P.O requirements (specification, amount, terms of payment, agreed delivery lead time)
  • Monitors and follow-up and ensures P.O or pending P.O requirements is complied by the supplier
  • Request and ensure shipping documents (if importation) and PEZA, BOC online system requirements (Brochure/HS Codes, LOI, Local receiving)
  • Processing, payment and clearing of shipment to Government (such as PDEA, BOC, DOE and BIR)
  • Request urgent canvassing, quotation and purchase order (sourcing-out supply to field supplier immediately)
  • Assists the Warehouse Staff in receiving all purchased goods delivered by suppliers.
  • Preparation of Purchasing reports (Daily and Monthly)
  • Documents and implements Purchasing Work Instruction for ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
