Chief Steward

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Steward to lead our stewarding team and ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the kitchen and food service areas. The ideal candidate is organized, a team leader, and committed to maintaining high sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all stewarding operations, including dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and equipment handling
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, kitchen equipment, and chemicals, and coordinate replenishment as needed
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of dishwashing machines and kitchen equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and back-of-house areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Collaborate with chefs and F&B team to ensure timely support for kitchen operations
• Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures effectively
• Maintain records for breakage, inventory, maintenance, and safety audits
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chief Steward or Steward Supervisor in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and stewarding operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
